Ph.D. Position in Smell Detection

נובמבר 17, 2016
ad

We are looking for a highly motivated and ambitious PhD candidate. This research project aims to explore the molecular basis of odor and repellent detection by the most dangerous animal on earth
a.k.a the mosquito.

This is truly a great opportunity to study a fascinating and highly competitive field of science with implication in terms of public health, sensory systems and artificial sensors.

The project will combine receptor engineering and pharmacology to explore the molecular determinants of odor recognition. Therefore, expertise in molecular biology is important, and knowledge in electrophysiology would be advantageous.
