Transforming Agriculture in Developing Countries‎‎

Come learn about the transformative power of technologies for smallholder farmers in emerging markets

There are an estimated 500 million smallholder farming households globally, who produce 80% of the food consumed in Asia and Sub-Saharan Africa. It's clear that in order to develop resilient and sustainable agriculture and food systems, Agritech solutions that respond to needs in developing countries are needed.

What are the conditions of farmers in developing countries and what are their needs? What are the existing instruments optimizing practices of smallholder farmers? Is there an opportunity for them to use regenerative agriculture practices?

It is our pleasure to invite you to a webinar that will address those questions, a joint endeavor of Pears Program and FaculTech- the Entrepreneurship club of the Robert H. Smith Faculty of Agriculture, Hebrew University. We will also discuss the place of Israeli technologies in those markets
The webinar will take place on Dec 9th 6 pm Israel time
