Mini-Symposium on June 17, World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought
June 17 is "World Day to Combat Desertification and Drought." To mark this day, we invite all researchers and students to take part in an online mini-symposium on 17 June 2020.
The goal of the mini-symposium is to acquaint ourselves with the large variety of research related to desertification, through “lightning talks”. In these short presentations (3 minutes each) researchers/students will give an introduction to their projects and how they are connected to desertification. There are a limited number of slots!

Relevant fields include, but are not limited to:
Sustainable food production, soil degradation, drought and water scarcity, effects of climate change on land, effect of desertification on biodiversity, effects of desertification on human populations and sustainable development goals
