PhD student position – Basic aspects of plant-pathogenic bacterium interactions
The Burdman lab is seeking for a motivated, independent and creative PhD student with interest in molecular plant pathology.
The research deals with a very important bacterial disease of cucurbit crops, involving molecular biology, biochemical and microscopic approaches in combination with plant assays in growth chambers and in the greenhouse.
Advantage for those with experience in one or some of the following: cloning, mutagenesis, gene expression, protein analyses, advanced microscopy.
