Heparan sulfate synthesis is a central component of the EMT program

The Shaul lab is interested in cancer-dependent metabolic remodeling. Specifically,  investigating the
unique metabolic processes that are particularly involved in tumor progression, such as the transition of
cancer cells to a more aggressive state.
